We agree. Traditional planning is often based on a "deficit model" which focuses on fixing what is wrong to chase arbitrary targets. This approach is "strength-based." We anchor to the patterns of energy and flow you already possess and build systems to multiply them. It is less exhausting and more sustainable.
You can try, but isolation usually kills momentum. Information alone rarely changes behavior. The live Labs act as a necessary anchor for your practice. They are scheduled, focused workspaces that guarantee you stop "planning" in your head and start building capability and strength in the real world.
You do NOT need a finished plan, as perfectionism is what we are trying to break. However, you will need to come prepared to work. You can't just show up with an unopened PDF. Before the session, you identify a specific section or prompt that you need support with. We use the live session to move that specific piece forward.
Absolutely not. Do not attend if you plan to multi-task. There is no lecture. We do a very quick grounding and then immediately move into breakout group coaching. This is 60 minutes of focused, active engagement.
We use Zoom or Microsoft Teams for these live sessions. To participate, you need reliable internet connectivity. You must also have your camera ON and microphone ready. We cannot practice presence while hiding. If you are in a situation where you cannot have stable video and audio, please do not attend that month's session.
It is designed to be safe and structured, not intimidating. We provide clear guidelines on how to run the small groups so everyone knows their role. You will use the time to vocalize where you are, get coaching support from peers, and support others in doing the same. It is a space for practice, not performance.
No. We do not record any Lab sessions to protect everyone's privacy and create a safe space for honest practice. What's shared in the Lab stays in the Lab. We require all participants to maintain strict confidentiality: no screenshots, no recordings, no sharing of others' stories or situations outside the session. By joining, you agree to honor this commitment. We reserve full legal rights to enforce this policy.
We hold them once a month to maintain a steady rhythm throughout the year. Once you sign up for the Kit, you will receive calendar invites for upcoming dates so you can block the time.
We strongly encourage you to prioritize the live sessions whenever possible. The core value of the Lab is the real-time practice and connection in breakout groups, which cannot be replicated asynchronously.
However, we know life happens. If you miss a session, we have a private LinkedIn group for the community. We share some key learnings there after each Lab so you can stay connected to the themes we are working on. It’s a great supplement, but it’s not a replacement for being in the room.
Yes. The Playbook PDF, the monthly live Labs, and the private LinkedIn group are 100% free. Our goal is to provide a genuine peer ground to support everyone in the community to build momentum. If you eventually decide you want deeper, we offer paid 1:1 and other support options, but there is zero pressure to upgrade.
